The Director of Ecclesial Ministries and Diocesan Consultation, Chris Newkirk, is pleased
to provide new opportunities in 2023-2024 for Pastors, Parish Life Coordinators/Parish Directors, Deacons, Religious Sisters, Parish Catechetical Leader (Principals, Teachers, DREs, CREs, Youth Ministers) and Parish Leadership Teams (to include any and all parish leaders) to learn and grow together. These offerings are in response to numerous requests for opportunities for more extensive training and leadership development. All individual leaders are welcome to attend, however it is hoped that you will take advantage of these opportunities by attending as an entire parish leadership team.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month: The Church's Response to Domestic Violence
Dc. Brian McCaffery, who serves in the Hayward Cluster, will lead participants in understanding Church history and desired responses toward people experiencing domestic violence. Participants will leave with concrete examples of outreach and ideas for potential service to this vulnerable population in the name of Christ’s Church.

For All The Saints: A Call to Individual & Public Holiness
Ms. Emily Wald is the Coordinator of Employee Benefits & Insurance for the Diocese of Superior, and has taken some time to discern a religious life and what it means to live a life of holiness, particularly through the experience of the Saints. She will provide insights to participants and share what she has learned on how we can all strive to be holy in our personal and public life.

Marriage and Family: The Domestic Church
Mrs. Loree Nauertz is the Associate Director of Evangelization and Missionary Discipleship, as well as the lead staff member for Marriage & Family Ministry for the Diocese of Superior. She will help participants understand the importance of marriage and the family as the Domestic Church, and as the primary venue for family formation and creating an environment of fertile ground for discernment of a vocational calling: marriage & family, single life, religious life, priesthood and permanent diaconate.
All sessions are held at St. Joseph Parish Center, Hayward. Lunch will be provided on site.
