• 	Resurrection Luke 24:1-48; Mark 16; Matthew 28; John 20,21	The disciples hear from the women that Jesus is alive. That evening he appears to the apostles behind locked doors, sayings, "Peace be with you...do not be afraid. PRO-LIFE INTENTION: For all who have lost loved ones, and especially for parents of a child who was miscarried, aborted or stillborn, that they will find peace in the promise of the Resurrection.	"There are times we hear from others about how our proclamation of the Gospel has changed someone's life.
  	Ascension Luke 24:49-51; Acts 1:6-11; Mark 16:19-20	Jesus tells the disciples to make disciples of all nations. PRO-LIFE INTENTION: For all who struggle with addictions, that through Christ's triumph and ascent into glory, they may triumph over their temptations, and gain strength and peace.	When we have been successful in our preaching, our duty is always to continue proclaiming the message to all people.
  	Descent of the Holy Spirit Acts 2:1-41	The power of the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples who are in prayer with Mary. They then boldly preach Christ crucified. PRO-LIFE INTENTION: That the Holy Spirit will open the minds and hearts of those who now reject the Gospel of Life and allow them to be convinced of the truth and goodness of all that the Church professes concerning human life.	We realize that all that we do or can ever do is the result of God's power.
  	Assumption of Mary c.f. 1 Thess 4:13-17	Mary nourished the infant church, just as she nourished the infant Jesus, until the day she was taken up into heaven. PRO-LIFE INTENTION: For mothers who have died at the hands of abortion providers, that they may experience reconciliation and together with their children know God's peace.	We look forward to and have hope not only in our salvation but for all Christians who will be rewarded and taken up to heaven.
  	Coronation of Mary cf. 1 Cor 9:21-27; cf. James 1:12; cf. Rev 12:1-17	Mary shares fully in the Glory of Christ because she shared in His suffering. PRO-LIFE INTENTION: For all mothers, that they might come to know the wonder of their vocation.	We look forward to heaven, where like Mary we will continue to witness in Christ. All Christians will be given crowns.
