Dear Loving God,
As One Holy and Apostolic Church
You call us to serve in Your name
through our acts of love for one another.
We express that love by a willingness to give,
and share that love with others.
May our gifts to the Catholic Services Appeal, reflect our gratitude for the
many blessings You have given us.
We pray that You, the source of all our gifts and abilities, will continue to
bless our labors.
Inspire in each of us a realization
that this sacrificial work is for Your honor and glory, as we do everything for the
Glory of God.
Amen
You are the visible face of the invisible Father...let the Church be your visible face in the world, its Lord risen and glorified - Pope Francis
Catholic Services Appeal Mission Statement
The Catholic Services Appeal represents our shared commitment as a community in the Diocese of Superior to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. By acknowledging the blessings we receive from God and sharing our resources generously, we ensure that crucial ministries of the Church receive the financial support they need. Empowered by the Holy Spirit and sustained by the Eucharist, we actively strive to spread the Gospel message and foster a culture of stewardship that sustains our diocesan mission and extends to the broader Church.
As stewards of the Catholic Services Appeal, we pledge ourselves to seek financial contributions and acts of philanthropy that align with Christ's call to selflessness. Through our baptismal vows, we embrace our role as disciples of Christ, entrusted with the responsibility of sharing the transformative power of His Gospel. Guided by the commandment to love God and our neighbors, we serve the Lord by addressing the needs of all people, both within our community and beyond. In doing so, we aim to make a meaningful and positive impact on the lives of those around us.
With faith in God's grace, we pray for the continued ability to steward our gifts for the advancement of His kingdom here on earth.
Theme: As we embark on the Diocesan-wide Recalibrating Maintenance to Mission initiative, it is truly fitting that the theme for the 2024/2025 Catholic Services Appeal (CSA) is "United in the Eucharist: Empowered for Mission."
Our parishes are being called to transform from merely maintaining operations to actively engaging in Christ’s mission to evangelize to all people. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to revitalize our parish communities, ensuring their vibrancy and sustainability in an ever-changing world. Each of us, as baptized members of the Church, plays a vital role in this transformation, contributing in countless ways, both big and small, across our Diocese.

Placing your gifts at the service of others unlocks the fullness of Christ. It turns little or nothing into enough and more.
No parish could exist on its own without the annual Catholic Services Appeal (CSA). It is a "united parish" campaign that funds over thirty vital programs, services, and ministries throughout our 16-county Diocese. As wide-ranging as they are, they have one thing in common. They touch each one of us! The Appeal reaches across parish boundaries, tying us together with a common thread in areas of Education, Service, Worship, Prayer, Social Concern, Charity and so very much more.
Every diocese has an annual Catholic appeal much like the CSA. Ours has a strong and exemplary record of efficiently meeting the many vital needs of our faith community each year.

When you contribute to the CSA you help families, young adults, senior citizens, student, and the entire parish.
The Catholic Services Appeal (CSA) was formerly called the Diocesan Services Appeal (DSA). Although the appeal received a new name in 2014, it is expected to continue to provide the same vital function of raising the yearly financial support for the programs, services, and ministries that are so important to our parishes. The new name emphasizes and more closely represents, a service to parishes and all "Catholics" in the name of Christ.
