On February 18, 2016, Bishop-elect James Patrick Powers was ordained and installed as the 11th Bishop of The Diocese of Superior.
Raised in Hammond, WI, Bishop Powers calls the Diocese of Superior both his place of mission and home.
In his over 5 years in our diocese, he has shared his heart for authentic Catholic identity, a devotion to the Eucharist, a commitment to leadership, and importance of evangelization.
